Having been in IT, I totally get these, and I have to agree with number 11 as well. I tend to ignore people who I know only call me to help with their computer/website/etc.

You’ve learned what I am starting to learn now – being a leader is HARD. Only difference is you’re working with volunteers and I’m working with people who get paid to not care. Nevertheless, I 100% understand how you feel.

Hopefully your schedule clears up a bit in a couple weeks.

The owners Of this restaurant use to own M-Bistro in westlake. It closed. That’s were the plaque came into play.

This is basically the kind of service I got. I went in for some morning coffee when I lived in Tremont and was walking around the neighborhood. I figured I’d get a breakfast sandwich, but they all had ham or something, so I asked if they could just give me egg and cheese (when I was vegetarian, before I was vegan.)

The lady said they couldn’t just do that. I guess she meant that in the manner you described. Like it was some piece of art. But it’s just a coffee shop that sells food, not exactly fine dining.

In general, she was rude to me. Sad thing is I think she was the owner. I frequented the place, but never went back after that.
