Yes, the U.S. is one of the biggest, most powerful, countries in the world. Yes, Haiti is a poor “3rd world country”. Yes, Iraq and Iran need help liberating themselves from the terrorists that are ravaging their countries. Yes, Afghanistan had a pretty shitty ruler. I see and understand all of that.

HOWEVER…

- Poverty in the US is estimated that roughly 13% – 17% of our population living below the federal poverty line.
- Homeless numbers in the US are estimated in the hundreds of thousands and are growing
- The unemployment rate in the US is roughly 10%, doubled of what it was just 2 years ago.

The US is in one of the worst economic situations of its history. Americans all over the country are suffering from this, either directly or indirectly. With that I cannot help but be completely disgusted at the fact that we are spending so much to “help” other countries that don’t even appreciate or want our help.

Haiti – yea, it sucks what happened and I am sympathetic to those that have lost loved ones in the disaster… but it’s not the United States’ problem. Iraq – they don’t even like us over there. Iraqis want us to leave, our citizens want us to leave, we need to leave. Let the middle east fight amongst itself. Darwin’s Law will apply – the fittest will survive and the weak will become extinct. Iran – either back up our problem with their nuclear technologies and bomb them or back off. Politics does not work with retards. Afghanistan – Again, we got Saddam, job completed. Time to leave.

Here’s an idea – Feds – instead of all these international efforts, why don’t we just focus on fixing our own country? Actors – instead of donating millions to help Haiti, donate them to the US to help your own countrymen. WTF America, WTF?
