IF – Day 2 – 226.6 lbs

Yesterday was definitely better than the day before. Thinking more on the schedule of the 4 hour window to eat, I decided that a 4-8 window (which really would have been more like 5-9 due to my work schedule) was a little too late. Eating right before bed is generally a bad idea, but for people like myself with ongoing stomach acid issues, it’s even worse. So, I decided to shift to a 3-7 window. Having only eaten dinner the on Day 1 at 5:pm, making it to 3pm before eating on Day 2 was a 22 hour fast. Not too shabby. But I gave in and ate 2 Nutrisystem bars at 3pm. Followed that up with 2 pork chops, a steak kabob and mashed potatoes for dinner at about 5pm.

It’s important to note that you need to stay hydrated throughout the day. I found myself drinking more than I normally do yesterday. Which, as you know, is a good thing anyway. So bonus?

Weighed in this morning at 226.6 lbs. this morning. Puts me down about 1.5 lbs over 2 days. However, that could very well just be normal daily fluctuation and have nothing at all to do with fasting. It’s far too early to tell what effect this is having – positive or negative – but at least I’ve stuck to this longer than I’ve stuck to any diet before.
